Severson kid has awesome size to at 6'2 he won't be a soft skill guy or get pushed around at least not when fully grown into his body the intelligence of this kid is awesome he seems very calm and cerebral I am hoping he is that replacement to neidermayer that we never got lol

Technical question from an American, how long are you allowed to play in the CHL? I thought this had to Severson's last year since he's been there for 5 years, but apparently it's still an option to stay?

Anything about Black or Bell's numbers that makes you think they can be legit top 6 guys or do you seem them at best as 3rd liners?

Also i think its G Black not C Black and he plays in WHL not OHL

I think black will be similar to nick cousins both had strong overage years and both play the skill game but I don't think they make top six NHL unless everything goes right hopefully both black and bell are late bloomers I love bells size and he is an interesting prospect to keep an eye on but I don't think anyone should get their hopes to high about either

I wonder if Cami is butthurt about Lou not letting him wear #13. If I were him, I'd think Lou's number nazism is stupid.

Yea like wtf unless your one of the best to play the game you can't wear the number you want only 1-30 or some poop. Its stuff like that that cripples us well maybe not cripples but when every team has rules to follow its one thing but once you put your own rules on top of the leagues you are really making things more difficult for yourself. I have felt the same about Burke and his I don't offer sheet people crap. Like what is there to do in jersey ? We have trouble drawing free agents yo begin with then we tell them how they are allowed to look or not look no jewelry like just stupid poop that doesn't help you win games so why bother

Lou tries to emulate George Steinbrenner, but the big problem with that is the New York Yankees is a HUGE difference than the New Jersey Devils. Sucks, but there is no argument with that.

I'm going to make a guess here and just say some big ufa has never turned Lou down because of the number on his jersey or because he can't wear jewelry.

I also think that having a dress code and showing up to work not looking like a slob is ever a bad thing either.

Yea I get you don't want a team of guys with purple hair and piercings but come on these are adults. I also doubt the dress code has never had any impact on the cups we have won so either way its a fuss for literally no reason and he has more little rules then the ones mentioned I am sure of it.

Like why the (frank) does it matter if someone wears 77 or 96 or any number it literally has no effect on anything if you ask me its being a Richard just because you can. Ibam sure you will use my very argument against me but w.e

There are lots of organizations who allow their players to wear the numbers they want. We could argue this all day but it really is silly and has no bearing what so ever on in game results but I will say that comes off more childish to me then respectable the number thing anyways. I know a lot of us likely wouldn't want to hear this but there are other respectable organizations other then the devils and just because they do or don't do something doesn't necessarily mean its right or correct. On a somewhat other note has there only been killer, jagr and mogilny who have worn numbers over 30 or 50 whichever it is that he allows for his players to wear or am I missing someone pre my birth lol which is 90

C stands for center, and yes he plays in the WHL. Well, he did anyways. He'll be in Albany next season.
